Guidelines for Authors

Ethics in Research and Publication

Authors conducting investigations involving human subjects or human data must adhere to ethical standards, including the 1975 Declaration of Helsinki, revised in 2013. Ethical approval from an independent review board is mandatory. Explicit written consent is required, and consents must be maintained.

For non-interventional studies, it is essential to inform participants about anonymity, objectives, and data usage. Ethical waivers must be adequately documented.

Publication in the Journal of Entrepreneurial Researchers (JER)

Authors must grant unlimited permission for publication in JER. Ethical considerations include informing and obtaining consent from individuals identified in images or studies.

Online Research

Clear information must precede participation, with the option to print and the right to withdraw consent. Confidentiality in online surveys is crucial, labeled as “confidential.” Information should be submitted with the manuscript.

Conflict of Interests

Any relationship that may influence impartiality must be declared. Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose conflicts.

Sex and Gender in Research

Adherence to the Sex and Gender Equity in Research (SAGER) guidelines is encouraged, with care in using the terms “sex” and “gender.”

Borders and Territories

JER maintains a neutral position in territorial disputes.
